Privacy Policy
BJJ Submissions Counter is a fast, offline-first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) submissions tracker. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. There are no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no ads.
Where your data lives
Your submission counts are saved locally on your device using localStorage
. This means:
- Your data never leaves your device.
- The app works offline (ideal for training mats and gyms).
- Deleting your browser/app data erases your counts.
Cookies
We set one short-lived, first-party cookie named bjj_migrate
(expires within minutes) only to help you import your existing data the first time you “Install to Home Screen” or move between bjjcounter.com
and www.bjjcounter.com
. It does not track you and is deleted after import.
Service Worker & Caching
Our service worker caches core files so the PWA loads quickly and works offline. This cache does not collect personal information.
Export / Import / Reset
- Export: You can download your data as a JSON file.
- Import: You can restore from a previously saved JSON file.
- Reset: You can wipe all counts at any time from the Info sheet.
